Great video. I am 5 days post op, I had the sleeve gastrectomy surgery. I was a bit nervous about the surgery but afterwards I told my wife what was I nervous about? Very smooth process, and minimal pain. Alot easier than a knee surgery which I had 3 in my lifetime. I was in the hospital for 2 nights and after 2 days at home, I was cleaning the house with no heavy lifting.

Even though I've been trying to lose weight for years, I realized that I couldn't do it without surgery. I live in the USA and unfortunately my financial situation is not good enough to receive treatment here. That's why I decided to get treatment in a different country. Im in the pre-stages (pre-op nutrition classes scheduled comin soon) so most of my questions are nieve. Just wish my medical place had pre-op support groups/classes (I called...they don't). Anyway one of my biggest questions is with the RNY is the excess stomach they leave in there been complications? I mean, like twisting or it going down in between other organs, does it just flop around??? I've googled this question and sad to say I haven't come across an answer yet.

It’s definitely not the easy way out but the easier way out would have been for me to get out of that bed and not have had it done. Wish I just had educated myself. So many people get the protein in by nasty shakes that are sodium dense. If going to have this done go a month of drinking water and eating yogurt. I wish I had the mindset you do but I’m sorry I have never felt so depressed than I have after this surgery.
