Remove the gas cap and it will release any pressure buildup in the tank. This will stop the humming noise right away🙂

This explains why my battery is been damn near dead on numerous occasions lately, between the battery being 6 years old and the system running for hrs after i park it.just noticed it doing it for the first time the other day coming out of the woods from hunting and i crawled under n heard a humming from the evap box by the tank, now i feel better knowing this. I have since replaced the battery and have had no issues

Thank you. I have the same sound mine turns off if i turn the key to run and take it out at first I thought it was the fuel pump running. But with the key and run position it sounds different.
The noise when off sounds like a tiny air compressor so that makes sense not a humm

Batteries getting more use than we realize after shut down, that's the reason car batteries won't last as long.

Yeah it's running a test..mine does that but if you're fuel tank is fully filled it will not run the test..nothing to worry about...a ticking noise from the cam on the drivers side is what you should worry if your tundra engine is not the direct injection version.

I had this same problem just the other day. I went into my garage and herd a humming sound coming from my gas tank. I opened the gas cap and heard air escape, this made the humming stop. I was a little worried there was an issue with my new truck.

Hi it's me Alex. You may not remember but almost about a year ago l sent you a video of my truck on Instagram. It was making noise from the Bilstein shocks. You said you've never heard that noise before and it sounds creepy like a Stephen King's movie Lol. I wonder if it's the same noise that I had a while back. I never knew what it was. The noise did go away though.
