In this video we will learn how in Android we can create multi-screen application. In Android we use Activity class for creating multiple screens. Activity is a class in Android which represents the screen of your application. For moving across to different screens, we also need to take the help of Intent objects. In Android development, an "intent" is a very basic component of the Android OS which facilitates communication between different components of an application or between different applications. Intents can also be used to start some other services in other applications.

An intent can be thought of as a message that is used to trigger an operation. It serves as a bridge to initiate various tasks, such as starting an activity (screen), starting a service (background operation), or broadcasting a message to interested components.
