I picked one of these up yesterday morning from Best Buy. After fully charging it, I went a good 9 to 10 hours installing apps checking stuff out streaming gaming from Gforce now. Testing Civ6 for about 30 minutes. Short video editing (not 4k), Watching YouTube and I still had 18% at the time I was going to bed. This is exactly the product I was looking for something that’s light portable good battery life like a MacBook Air but running windows. That’s all wins before the Screen. Gorgeous.!!

Just let that sink in for a bit. Apple released a product so good, the best competition out there took 4 YEARS just to match them. Have to give Apple credit where credit is due. They really make some properly good processors.

so excited to finally see competition in the laptop space, I've loved my MacBook ever since I got it for the ARM improvements, now that "owning a Mac" isn't a requirement to get that, more people get an actually decent mobile computing experience

the fact that the emulation is within 15% of original x86 is amazing. this will take off quick and i bet future update to the emulation will bring it close to normal performance.
