The Least P2W MMORPGs 2024

The sad truth about MMORPGs in 2024 is that many of them are ruined by their monetization, rampant shameless pay to win seems to be everywhere nowadays, especially in the MMOs coming Asia, many people play MMOs as an escape from reality, you might be broke AF IRL but in game you could be a legend, a PVP god, a raider with legendary gear that other people are jealous of, these game have the potential to give people a sense of status that they’d otherwise never experience in real the real world.
I, and many others genuinely miss the time when our only concern when a new MMO was announced was how good the game would be, not with how the devs are gonna try to weasel their way into our wallets for infinite cash.
So in this video we’re gonna talk about the least pay to win MMOs, bare in mind that pay to win is a spectrum, almost every MMO exists on this spectrum in one way or another and every single MMO in existence CAN be pay to win if you break the rules and pay someone to play on your account or you illegally buy gold on third party websites
but considering that’s against the rules and you could get your account banned for doing so we realistically can’t consider that pay to win, if we did there’d literally be no games on this list.
The MMOs on this list are either not pay to win at all, low on the pay to win spectrum or have a their p2w capped to an optional sub fee or battle pass.

Mortal online 2 has the most integrity in terms of monetizing their game imo. 15$ sub fee, that's it. No microtransactions, no cash shop or any of that bullshit and it makes me so thankful!

For Elder Scrolls Online, the sub also gives you the EXTREMELY beneficial unlimited crafting bag. It's so good that if you have even the least bit interest in crafting/gathering then the sub is practically mandatory.
