About Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix
A summer has passed since Harry's encounter with the Dark Lord, andHarry returns to learn that the wizarding community remains in denial about Voldemort's return; the minister of magic believes that Headmaster Dumbledore is lying; and a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher has been assigned. Now, with the entire wizard community in peril, the future of magic may depend on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. When the new professor, Dolores Umbridge's (Imelda Staunton--Nanny McPhee, Vera Drake), Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to protect themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) urge Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) to act. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts.

0:50 I love how Voldemort's smile fades when Dumbledore shows up. He was probably one of the only characters that Voldemort truly feared.

So without really meaning too, Harry managed to keep Voldemort busy until the Wizard Council showed up and proved what Harry said was true. Tom's own EGO gave him away.

The clip of Harry @4:30 hugging Hermione, laughing with Ron, seeing his parents for the first time, hugging Sirius, Harry with Ron and Hermione and finally seeing his two best friends when they were second years students and now to the present will always make me cry. He has always known love unlike Tom Riddle.

I love how Cornelius Fudge finally realises that Dumbledore wasnt after his position but actually trying to defend his position and the ministry all together.

I love the sound the spell that dumbledore makes to make the orb of water so much, when he does that little circular swish, it scratches my brain in the most spectacular way. Lol

Dumbledore was so much more badass in the books. He subdued Bellatrix, protected Harry, and easily defeated Voldemort. In the books, Voldemort shot spell after spell at Dumbledore, but Dumbledore dodged or deflected them with hardly any effort. Almost all of Dumbledore's return spells landed and kept pushing Voldemort back, forcing Voldemort to flee. To quote the book: "Dumbledore advanced on Voldemort...as if nothing had interrupted his stroll through the hall".

Voldy doing a silly jump scare at 4:08 just makes me laugh

I wish they did the battle more intensely like the book; the statues come alive to help fight Voldemort who also uses a shield, it would show how both wizards are incredibly powerful.

One thing that always hit me about this:
Belletrix's loyalty, even though she probably knew exactly what Voldemort was doing.
Which was trying to convince him to [unalive] her, solely to prove to Harry that he was corruptible.

Love. The one power that Voldemort can't conquer. It protected Harry as a baby, and here it pushed Voldemort out.

Forget about the scene, the music is just mesmerizing. They would walk on a field of flowers and it would still be utterly dramatic.
The creators of that music did a spectacular job.

I like how at 4:00, despite the fact Voldemort is possessing Harry’s body, Dumbledore still knows how to fight back, to remind Harry that they’re different, because he knows Harry fears that he is similar to Voldemort

I loved his “rah” and the weak sound of harry’s wand rattling the ground. He was so disappointed and the sound make it like this pitiful little wand is a child’s toy.

I don't know why but watching this when I was young I teared up when the flashbacks of hermonie and ron came up.. I think it's because it reminded me of how much love and friendship can overcome anything. and how badly I wish to feel this with people. ever since then I remind myself of this scene from time to time.

One thing that I find underrated here is how Ginny reacts when she comes in and sees Harry possessed by Voldemort. We only see it for a second or two, but her expression looks like a mix of shock, horror, and heartbreak. She knows as soon as she sees Harry what she's looking at, possession. She's experienced exactly what he's going through, and she knows Harry so she knows just how deep a violation that is for him to be possessed by his parents' murderer.

I wish they'd given Ginny more screentime, and more of a reaction from her here. It would've deviated from the books if they did it, sure, but I don't think Ginny would stand off to the side if she saw that, she'd ignore her injured leg and rush to Harry to try to help him expel Voldemort. It would've set up their relationship in the next film more, the hug at the beginning especially, if Ginny had either tried to help Harry fight off Voldemort, or comforted him afterwards, or both.
