I love these so much!. When I was a kid, my dad's best friend was a captain for United and his wife was a flight attendant. Little tiny redhead who didn't take any grief off of anyone and her name just happened to be Jeannie. It's fun to picture her dealing with this her it's fun to picture how she would have dealt with this idiocy. Back then people had better manners on airplanes apparently

I think I sat in the emergency row once. They did ask if I was willing. They did not show me how to open the emergency door. I was worried the whole flight I was going to be in charge to saving everybody. So glad when we landed.

We had someone the other day who told the FA he wasn't going to help the flight was full. We had to remove him from the flight and rebook him. We made sure we put to it in his PNR so he wouldn't ever be able to sit in an exit row with us again

Airlines could also do with some extra legroom seats that don’t come with emergency requirements. Often disabled folks need more room, but are disqualified from using those exact seats 😅
