One passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight had a total meltdown after listening to a crying baby for 35 minutes. The tirade unfolded on a flight from Baltimore, Maryland, to Orlando, Florida. As flight attendants told him to calm down, the angry passenger yelled, trying to quiet the baby. Other passengers even chimed in but his rant grew more explosive. Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano has more details.

Not going to lie, calling a plane an echo chamber is hilarious

I know EXACTLY how he feels, but getting put on the no-fly list is a bigger deal than most people seem to realize.

That "did that MF pay extra to yell" line had me absolutely WEAK 😂.

Telling someone to calm down has never made anyone calm down.

One time on a Christmas eve flight home a baby was crying for about an hour behind me. I turned around and said "your mom is going to bring this up every Christmas for the rest of your life". The mom laughed which made the baby stop crying and smile. I felt so cool lol.

As someone who lost an entire night of sleep on a 9 hour red eye flight due to a crying kid, I totally understand his frustration. However, this guy took his frustration too far.

My mother always told she had no problem bringing me and my siblings on the plane when we were still babies. We eventually found out its because she fed us cough syrup so we'd be sleeping the entire flight 😅😅😅

I COMPLETELY understand this man’s frustration, I really do. As someone with sensitive hearing, I find the sound of babies crying very unpleasant to deal with. However, I recently invested in some expensive noise-cancelling headphones and they have been a life-saver. I suggest this man does the same.

You gotta see the unedited version. My favorite is when he says "did the baby pay extra to yell"?

The baby is acting appropriately for their age, this man is not lmao

Often the parent dealing with the crying baby is feeling overwhelmed and crappy when they aren’t able to soothe the baby. Screaming at the baby and/or the parent isn’t going to help anything. Either it makes the parent more frantic or angry and can cause the baby to cry and scream louder. It’s not as if the baby went on that plane with the intention to cry. I’m not a parent myself but I can have some empathy for babies and their parents.

I get annoyed frequently, but this man is on another level (This is a joke, I don’t know what the guys been through, but it’s normal for babies to cry over 30 minutes)

Honestly I get it. Babies crying is the most annoying sound ever

Had a kid kicking my seat on a flight from Ibiza to Paris. Had not slept in over 24 hours, gave the kid a little death stare and he instantly stopped. lol

I would literally pay extra for a child free flight. Why do airlines not offer those? They would make more money.

No one ever WANTS to travel with a baby. Sometimes you just have to. I was on a flight once with a fussy baby and a stressed mama, and as she tried to calm the baby down another lady walked up and kindly offered to hold the baby for a while. She had a mother's touch and patiently held and played with the baby for most of the flight. My faith in humanity: restored.

For clarification, I meant the actual traveling part, as in flying, not the vacation itself
