Finding the sum or an arithmetic series using summation notation

👉 Learn how to find the partial sum of an arithmetic series. A series is the sum of the terms of a sequence. An arithmetic series is the sum of the terms of an arithmetic sequence. The formula for the sum of n terms of an arithmetic sequence is given by Sn = n/2 [2a + (n - 1)d], where a is the first term, n is the term number and d is the common difference. Where the last term is known, we can use Sn = n/2 (a + l) where l is the last term.

I imagine the interruption of his videos by the students amplify his negative reactions towards the them which seems like it may make it rough for a normal student-teacher atmosphere and cause tension between him and the students. I admire his efforts to simultaneously teach a class and make a video tutorial since these videos have helped me greatly, however I sympathize with the students since they have to deal with an element that most students don't have to deal with. None the less these videos are great and yeah student definitely shouldn't be interrupting class but I don't think that they're "not even trying".
