Volvo S80 2.5L Turbo Spark Plug Replacement

This video will show you how to replace the spark plugs on a 2004 Volvo S80 with a 2.5L 5 cylinder turbo engine. The replacement plugs are NGK G Power Platinums. Access to the coil packs is accomplished by removing the plastic turbo air tube and the plastic coil pack cover resting over the valve cover. You'll need a T30 torx socket to remove the coil pack cover bolts.

Seems to me you should be able to work around the pipes without removing them.

Please get a magnetic spark plug socket. The sparks plugs have a coating on them that helps with not sticking to the engine. No need to coat them with anything.

Leave the horizontal support and the tube. Take the two bolts that hold the tube to the block. The rest is the same as the video.
