SHOULD YOU BUY THE RODE BACKPACK?

@rodemic sent me this backpack for a review, and I am super excited!
I have never reviewed a backpack before.
Now just to find out how to do the off axis rejection on this thing...

Great review! Love the off axis rejection test, kind of expected hyper cardioid man to make an appearance to do that one...LOL. Keep the awesome content coming as it is always helpful. Speaking from experience when doing live Corporate AV work, that type of backpack would have been nice to have.

It just arrived, and hoping I can adapt it to fit the mini duo, a Shure SM7B, headphones, a laptop, cables desktop mic stand, etc. I wish Rode or a competitor would make a dust cover for the mini duo.

One of the drawbacks of backpacks -- as a frequent flyer -- is the lack of information on the actual dimensions so we can determine if it'll stay within a particular airline's specs for a personal item.

I just need someone to make my old Targus bag. I can't find anything that comes close. 2 full sized mid 2000s laptops will fit in it and still have room for tons of extras. It is discontinued and one day I will have to replace it. Problem is there is no suitable replacement. Not even upset at not winning one as this review confirms it most likely would sit around collecting dust anyways. With that said, for what it is designed for, it seems like a great option.

Purchased one today. Did you see the SD Card slot opposites side to where the microphones go? Am curious how the new, smaller Duo will go with the strap so centred in the middle,

Could you maybe review the DT700 pro x by Beyerdynamic? Other reviews left me even more confused especially because there sometimes not matching up to the frequency response graphs on Rting for example.
I want neutral and detailled headphones for mobile use.
