Lock In 7% With Government Bonds:

Coca-Cola is one of the strongest brands and most recognized brands in the world as it’s not only popular in western countries but in developing countries as well. And most of the hype behind the company comes from their crown jewel Coke. At first glance, it might seem like Coca-Cola is a master soda maker given that they’ve held onto their dominance for literally 100 years. But, the truth is, even Coca-Cola can’t beat Coke. And this is not just a hypothesis either. In the 1980s, Coca-Cola tried to replace the original Coke with a new formula dubbed new Coke, but there was so much backlash from consumers that Coca-Cola ended up switching back within 79 days. This is quite ironic given that Coca-Cola ran 190,000 taste tests to ensure that the new Coke tasted better than the original Coke, but given the backlash, the taste is obviously not the most important factor. This video explains the brand power of classic Coke and why even Coca-Cola can’t beat Coke.

I was at a Pepsi test. I could identify it and it tastes differently. I chose Pepsi because they were giving gifts if you chose Pepsi

Pepsi is smooth and consistent, where as coke has that peak that grabs you. I prefer coke when you need that hit of refreshment.

i can differentiate coke by the slight herbal astringency in the aftertaste on the back of my tongue,
pepsi has a sharper cleaner taste up front and less aftertaste, just crisp and clean throughout.

i wonder if anyone else tastes the diff in either the same way.

I am on the Pepsi camp, but the main reason is the situation on Czech market. Here in Czechia, Pepsi is using sugar as sweetener, whereas Coke is using glucose-fructose syrup, which, basically is European version of corn syrup, but less sweet and made from mixture of corn and wheat. And you can tell the differences. Years ago, Pepsi even made commercials here about using sugar. Add to this fact that Pepsi is cheaper than Coke here in Czechia and you know why I am in Pepsi camp.

I swear i can taste a big difference to such an extant that when someone offers me Pepsi I rather take water

i wonder if all those mentioned studies actually offered an answer choice "they're the same, " because if they only offered "one" or "the other" then they in a way influenced/forced their outcome conclusions.

Honestly coke is just more common. Its everywhere while i have to purposefully search for pepsi. I think pepsi tastes better, but that probably just in my mind

Seeing how little views this had after 8 months made me sceptical to watch it; but I always enjoy your content so I gave it a try. Man was I not disappointed; explaining all the different tests was incredibly eye opening to human psychology. Not only that; ive finally figuered out why I’m always driving my uncle to get him massive packs of Coca Cola.. 😂

Classic Coke all the way for me. I used to drink A TON of it. I can tell the difference. Just not a Pepsi fan. New Coke sucked. Didn't Pepsi do a clear version? I seem to remember trying it when it came out.

"We don't have the same phones or computers we had 10 years ago" ahahaha I'm the exception to that.

I bought AMD's best CPU of 2012, the FX-8350, an 8 core processor clocked at 4 Ghz from the box which was unheard of at the time. Its still very good today & I have no need to upgrade, I am still GPU bottlenecked today with a GTX 1060, so I can still get more performance by putting a 1080 Ti in before the CPU is what's limiting performance in games, especially in newer games that can rely on more cores. But most people don't buy the best product available to them.

Also my phone is a Galaxy S7 which is from 2016, it's still good & I like it. I have a Pixel 5 running Graphene OS for business because I work in a regulated industry with sensitive personal doccuments & security is a super high priority, but my personal use phone is an old ass S7 which works just fine for my needs. It is the international model with the Exynos processor which is much faster than the US model with the Snapdragon. I have multiple S7's & the US model is so slow & garbage, if you owned an S7 but live in America you have no idea how fast this phone truly was unless you bought an international model, its still good today which is why I still use it.

But yes, I am using old electronics even though I am a tech enthusiast & have a moderately larger personal mining operation with tens of thousands of dollars of computing hardware in my house, I have absolutely no need for that raw computing horsepower on my personal machine. The only games I play are Minecraft, Roblox, & sometimes Valorant.

it might be just down to market saturation in the end. Internationally coke simply has a bigger footprint and in some markets Pepsi is way ahead.

That coke taste always brings back those good memories

Hmm, I know that the recipes are different in many countries but I can clearly tell the difference between Easter Europe Coke and Pepsi. Coke is slightly more acidic and has more co2 than Pepsi which has a slightly more "cola" taste than the former.

Coke has more carbonation. Pepsi is flatter but sweeter. I prefer coke

My memory of the Pepsi taste test was that they didn't ask you "which is better?", they asked "which one is Pepsi" and I never could tell which was which, just that they were different.
