great video. I have to correct you on the crown vic though. It was not a junk car. Vics are the toughest cars ever made.. ive had numerous ones assigned and they were all tanks. Not the best looking, not the fastest... but you cannot destroy them. I took my vic patrol cars in places you wont believe, even in a pursuit on a river jumping sandbars trying to catch a lifted jeep running from me. Crown Vics were the best police cars ever made. tough, comfortable for long shifts, reliable, and cost effective. And I did have a 93 slicktop with the 5.0 in it that was screaming fast...

If anyone thinks Fox Body prices are high, wait 20 years and you will wish you had a time machine to go back to today a buy one! These prices are only going to advance further. Much further! Great video!~

I test drove a new one of those back in the day. The thought of a V8 in a car like that is so absurd to me, that I wanted one then, and I still want one now.

Fun fact. Nobody liked the calypso green when it came out in '93

It didnt sell well at all and thats what actually made it rare
Now times have changed and now everybody likes the calypso green.

I still believe my Dad was the reason the Texas Trooper’s went to the 5.0 in the mid eighties. He owned many GT’s but the one that took out everything that came up against him was an 85’ Predator. This was in Austin and sometimes he still kids that they’re still looking for him. All he has now are pictures and memories.

Emerald green by itself with chrome ponys or cobra wheels is my favorite

Great information! You put it all together nicely. I bought the only late model fox body convertible almost 8K miles outside the US at a former US Navy base. It was shipped over by the original AF pilot. Original paint, interior, radio, no rust and has unmolested 5.0 V8 manual with black paint, tan interior and running condition.

I bought a new 1992 Bimini Blue 302/5 speed/3.08 LX hatch. Though it was a daily driver, i still added some period CA smog legal mods of the time - headers, thermostat, K&N, timing as well as a Hurst shifter and JBA weld-in subframe connectors. The weld-in connectors are the way to go. I installed the Hurst after missing third gear a couple of times. The subframe connectors with an otherwise stock suspension made the thing corner like it was on rails - made the rest of the suspension and Goodyear Gatorbacks work as designed. Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust gave it some authority and a noticeable kick too. The car was fast for what it was. The Bimini Blue color as I understood was a 1992-only color so it predated the teal of the 1993 Cobra. I had a lot of fun with the car and still drove it to work every day. Had to let it go because kids came along. Ash tray lid is irritating. I also drove a Bimini Blue 1992 SSP notchback with an auto for a little while. Had 15 instead of 16 inch rims. It was also a fun driver but the transmission was loose. Wasn’t as quick as my slightly modified 5 speed car. Another place to look for rust is around or under the rear deck spoilers. Moisture gets trapped. Mine was exposed to SoCal salt air and that’s where it started to rust. I remember the 83 GT350 packages and believe they were all 302 cars - at least the ones I saw. Maybe there was a turbo option but I never saw one. Anyway, great video. I wish these cars were still cheap.

At 4:20 there is a dark color 4 eyes hatchback, where did you get that clip? I am looking for more info on that car to find out where they got the rear diffuser so any info would be greatly appreciated! Great video by the way!

Great Video... 👍
I own a 66 GT FB since 15 years and as much as i love the 65/66 Mustang, Foxbodys came a close second. Imo these were timeless american beautys, that never gets old or out of fashion. Not to mention plenty of hp, lightweight and tons of custom design choices over the years.
Hopefully i find one in good condition for a fair price in time.

Greetings to all pony and muscle car enthusiasts out there from germany.🤘

Calypso isn’t loved by everyone, but those that do are very into it. There isn’t a car that I regret selling more than my first Mustang, a 92 Calyspo LX coupe. Maybe some day I’ll see one for sale again, but they’re rarer to find with so many ending up in the junk yard over the years.

I wouldn’t keep the ash tray center in the car i recommend the cup holder one especially if you daily drive it

One of my favorite rare colors is "vibrant red". If you've ever seen it in person, you'll know why!

Missed opportunity on rare Fox colors. In 1993, and 1993 only you could get your Foxbody in beautiful "Canary Yellow". I believe you could get Canary Yellow in 94, and 95 on those SN95's respectively.

Everybody calls this the "ugly one" but I think it looks a WHOLE LOT better than the II. The II was just a glorified Pinto.
And much better than the 4th gen.

I always thought the 5th gen looked good though.

Thanks just bought a 93 LX 🦊 with the 2.3L 4 speed auto. Trying to find what options it might have.its electric red

Though I heavily disagree not talking about the turbo or NA 2.3 and calling Vics junk

Probably the reason you have so few subs
