They haven’t been “cheap” for about a decade

I bought my ‘90 coupe in 1999 when I was in college for $5k. I’ll never sell it and have added a ‘93 hatch to the collection. They’re so much fun to drive and nothing sounds quite like a classic 5.0.

I have 1990 one that’s the 4cyl version with like 115km on it. Mint condition. Might be slow but I love it

Just got mine last tax season, it was originally an 86 4cyl, they put the t5, carb 5.0, stitched the beautiful leather seats in it, did the gt panel swap, repainted it, and let the damn thing sit in a field for 15+ years. Got it for 1500 dollars. Just had to replace all the fuel lines, brake lines, brakes, rotors, carb, alternator, battery, and of course an oil change, and tires. and it ran like a damn scalded dog. Till the harmonic balancer bent a month ago lol I have 2 5.8s tho

I remember seeing these cars back in the late 80’s and early 90’s as a kid. They were notoriously easy to steal and so many people were getting them and piecing them out for cheap. I remember the first rag top I saw, the guy was doing crazy burnouts in it and then he sold it for 500$ to one of my friends!

I was able to buy mine in 2004 for four thousand dollars. I could sell it now for at least fifteen to twenty thousand I’m glad I held onto it.

I got mine in California with 100k miles with some very minor problems for about 4500. Not too bad

I bought my 88 GT convertible in California in May 1988. I am the original owner. It's my retirement plan

Foxbody is and up and down thing.

So many little changes make the prices vary wildly.

I currently own a 4 eye 1979 light boy.

With 300hp at the wheels from its somg era 302 fully retro mod.

But not worth much except to me.

Areo cars always sell more than 4 eyes

Same thing is happening to sn94s i picked them as *my* car because they are butt ugly, goofy ahh, and overall undesirable compared to anything before and after. You used to be able to pick em up, starting, running, and driving for like 800 bucks all day, maybe needing a quick part swap or 2. These days i cant find anything outside a total loss wreck for less than a couple grand
