Nice car! From 1986 to 1992 I worked at our local Ford dealer and would on occasion do pre-delivery on new cars. My favorites to do were of course, Mustangs with the 5.0 ( GT or LX ) and SVOs. I've always liked the fox body mustang, it has clean simple lines. It may not be a power house like my sons ' 21 Mustang GT, but at that time horsepower was finally on the up swing. I'm almost 60 and remember well the oil embargo's, ever increasing insurance rates, and EPA mandates that killed American performance cars. The fox body Mustangs were at the forefront of bringing back performance cars and should be remembered as such, along with the other famous marks from other automakers.

I've got a 1990' 7 Up edition with 52k on the clock with the 5sp manual and I'm the original owner since new, I paid $18, 900 here in California!

Truly 1 of the best if not the best sounding engines with a simple Flowmaster or Borla or Magnaflow exhaust system. I have headers too and it is loud! Also those 2 door Lexus sound like Indy cars!

Ford really held back on the horsepower on them 302s. My tip for looks. If you get a 88-93 GT switch the taillights with the LX models and put a cobra rear bumper looks way better. Those also sound awesome with flowmasters. I had no issues with 4.10 rear end in a automatic. Dang the memories. 😢

I appreciate your support and effort. But you need too check up on the history of your subject.the 1982 mustang GT 5.0 was the beginning of the resurgence of the foxbody! That year started what we have now!! But nice video

Prices these days are wild, last fox I bought was an estate sale 83 GT T Tops 23, 000 miles red interior $2500 in 2010, before that 85 Gt 2007 $1200 back then people were giving away 4eyes for nothing ……. Those were the days I should have bought 5 more and a Capri

81 was the year they lowered displacement and all that and it was enemic.. the 82 was actually the first year they had 5.0 badges and was known as the return of performance at 157 hp which was good for the time for its weight. You was one year off you was saying the crap year was 82.

I've never heard anyone speak as fast as you do. Where are you from? No disrespect intended.

The only way I see one of these being worth 25k or more would be a extremely low I mean low mileage original mint condition gt now a clean cobra or the rare stuff maybe but not a driver quality run of the mill gt
