Lifelong carnivore here. Have been making some lifestyle changes over the last couple of weeks. Exercise, better eating, the whole thing. My gf wanted me to check out the sauce in this video to make sometime. Ended up watching the whole thing and have made those addictively delicious frijoles twice now. Adding more plant based options into our menu now, so thanks for expanding my horizons a bit.

I love this way of eating--and no diet culture crap ("forbidden foods", calorie counting, etc). It took me 65 years to start eating this more balanced way. Attempting many more plant based meals--I find your channel extremely helpful for this. Thank you.

It's so nice to see someone not promoting diet culture, making realistically achievable and generally affordable foods. Your videos helped me become a vegan much easier. So true about the snacks, I absolutely love to fill dates with peanut butter, it doesn't even feel like I'm eating something healthy. Also, adding fresh herbs to salads was a total game-changer for me :D

Nisha, I love your recipes so much. Today I made your gingerbread cake, yesterday your tofu tikka masala, for Christmas your salted chocolate pie, a few weeks ago your red lentil curry and the breakfast burritos with tofu scramble.... They're all such high quality recipes that have been tested and communicated with care and love. I just hope that you know when you sit down every morning to plan out your work day that you are actually changing people's life for the better. And so does Max! You guys are a lovely team and I used to only watch the videos because they're so entertaining, but then they enhanced my love for cooking and following recipes as well. I love that these videos are about whole food fruits and vegetable meals, not trying to make something taste like something else. Everything is so fresh looking it makes me want to try them. I tried once before but had such a hard time and ended up gaining weight, was bloated and lethargic. I am looking forward to starting this journey again after watching your videos. This is genius! Peanut sauce is my fav salad dressing ever, so THANK YOU. I added a bit of MSG, Sichuan chili flakes, and blended in some roasted garlic. Delish!

I just stumbled onto your channel in this mornings search for more vegetarian options for our diet. So, before breakfast and for an hour after breakfast I watched several of your video's and I am absolutely I have a bunch of Indian spices from last year's couple month quest into indian cooking, again for less reliance on meat and for a flavor dense, nutrient packed dinner option. We have a place in Oceanside that we frequently escape the extreme hot and extreme cold of Northern Nevada, so I'm looking forward to our next romp down in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your spunky, quick, uncomplicated presentation and myriad of awesome ideas to help me in my quest for a more plant based repertoire. I'll be visiting your channel over and over!
