Blackmagic Design 6k Cinema Camera FF Test available light night New York

This was a test shoot using all available light in NY city. Lenses 24-70mm Sigma art lens F28 L mount, 135mm Sigma art lens F1.8 , I shot at both native 400 ISO and 3200 ISO. Media- Prograde Digital CFexpress Type B, Cobalt 650GB and 1.3TB.

Vance is the best! I worked with him in Chicago for a video for Isi Stradlin, ex-GNR. He was such a total hands on guy, lighting and operating. And given I didn’t work with any other Aussies during my time there (12 years or so), it was a great experience.

Good Lookin'!!! Such a great camera. Despite the battery issues, best bang for the buck. In the right hands, as you show, this camera produces great images. The only issue now for folks is content. Bad content with great cameras is still trash.

Amazing shots! Did you use any noise reduction for any of these? I am really considering buying a BMCCFF next year, but I'm a litle bit insecure about its low light capabilities.

Wow the spinning shots in Time Square actually look great. Not really seeing the rolling shutter. Did you do the gyro stabilizing trick in post to fix it?
