Racial bias in whites linked to poorer facial discrimination of blacks

Vitriol, Appleby, & Borgida (2019) conducted a series of two studies that show that the other-race effect is linked to racial bias. In short, greater prejudice against black individuals is associated with poorer ability to differentiate black faces compared to white faces.
