Almost everyone in Germany is convinced that racism is a problem here, according to recent studies. Everyday racism manifests itself not only in physical acts of violence and verbal attacks. People who clearly have a migrant background also experience discrimination at school, in sports clubs or when looking for housing. A number of organizations exist for people who have experienced discrimination and want advice.

Context on "going clubbing with his friends"? I was in Germany and something that I noticed in every city when going to parties, is that security tend to turn down groups of more than 3 males, specially when it's clear tha they've been drinking, and that my friends, is to protect the women. I work right now with two men that lived in Germany for more than 10 years, and they said the most racism they experienced was from second generation immigrants, specially turkish.

Guy models for a living where his entire job is based on his looks. "There were limits to my career and my future, based on my appearance." Did he really just say that?

Its not racism when someone does not like your looks in the modeling business. Its literally a business that is run by looks. No one cries racism if a client says the model is too Scandinavian.

Not a single example of racism in this video, I think Germany has way more class disparity and discrimination based on class than any race, eastern europeans going there to work min wage jobs are seen as lower because of what they work, even though they look just like the Germans race wise, it's not an issue of skin color

When immigrants commit crimes at disproportionate rates is it really racism to be on edge around them? Is a woman racist for avoiding a neighborhood full of immigrants because she understandably doesn’t feel safe? Don’t get so hung up on self guilt that you put yourselves in danger so some rich out of touch journalist doesn’t wag their finger at you.

“We interviewed a male model and…”
This might be the worst news story ever produced.

Im half latino. I never had problems with racism here. I noticed that many people use racism as a excuse to get what they want.

Modeling is a career built on pretty privilege and the current trendiness of styles. I think he’s coming up against his limits based on a superficial field of business.

Why he has to Africa, where there many opportunity for business. When colonial error was over, the colonial powers give back their country and land. Instead Africans migrating to Europe and complain for racial discrimination. What is for German is for Germany people. Leave them alone.

i'm from romania and my brother moved to usa in 2013. he said many times that europeans are racist and xenophobic. at first i was in denial and did not want to accept it was a fact, only later when it was my turn to go abroad and work. it's a very sad reality and the fact that i had to go through that experience to come to that conclusion (as my brother) was very silly

How many foreigners can live, work in Europe and keep their citizenship. In Africa or Asia a European only has the right to come as a tourist and pay several times more than the local so who is racist?
