Most people don’t realize addiction creates so much stress and unhealthy habits that affect your overall health and make the addiction much more difficult to endure, or stop. Most don’t take care of themselves, and mental health is REALLY important. Taking showers, brushing your teeth, etc. And eating and drinking water DAILY. Without these nutrients your body will hurt more, and feel incredibly weak. And dehydration? Ugh 😩 it exasperates ALL your symptoms! Please, if you’re addicted to opioids please at least feed, bathe and drink water. Don’t forget who you are; and what you deserve! To be good to yourself ❤

As someone who quit before getting pregnant, i can say that it was the hardest times in my life, but i have three healthy kids now, and none of them were born with anything at all.. i used to do drugs, but got sober, and relapsed, but now been clean for over 10yrs.. it's still a battle, because any stress or something else in your life that has you anxious, can be a trigger to use again.. With a strong back up system&loved ones, you don't have that problem so much.. but this woman, is amazing for fighting for her kid, even though she's suffering.. it's just that it could literally kill her baby, if her body is this sick . She would need something to help, like subutex.. not Suboxone of methadone..

My grandma quit smoking when she got pregnant with my aunt (late 50s) She said she saw all these moms holding their babies while smoking and the smoke would get into their faces. She didn't want that for her babies and never touched a cigarette again

You can take Subutex safely during pregnancy, just not Suboxone. Also methodone, but Subutex doesn't require daily visits to the clinic, any doctor can prescribe it now, and it doesn't get you high. It also blocks other opioids.
