If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s being slapped in the face.

Thinking about myself, my wants, and my own needs is something that comes naturally to me. Thinking about others always seems to be an afterthought, and sometimes even a burden; in friendships, with my siblings, even in my marriage.

I’ve had to serve Charlotte more than I’ve ever had to before. This is something I thought would come naturally to me as her husband. When serving so much I have these thoughts creeping that I'm appreciated that can be dangerous if don't talk about them.
