In this video, I'll take a look at a price range I don't often discuss on the channel: watches under $150. It might seem like there's not a lot out there for a watch enthusiast at this lower price tier, but there are a number of solid options for savvy watch nerds who know where to look. If I missed any other excellent watches under $150, be sure to let me know in the comments! As a note, some of these watches might fluctuate in price, so don't come after me if they're slightly over $150 in the future!

Almost 70 years old and I'm one of Teddy's biggest fans .

I’ve had the Citizen for about five years maybe. I wear it everyday to the office and working in the yard. I’m not easy on it and find it very accurate and durable. I swapped the band for a simple unfinished chocolate brown leather. I find it warms is up and takes away the “field” look. Thumbs up for sure. Great watch for the money.

I’ve recently became fascinated with watches thanks to this dude/channel. Thanks so much!! Also just purchased the first big watch for my collection while stationed in Japan. Seiko SPB167

My grandfather left me a mechanical watch, having never been a watch guy myself and having now gone down the YouTube watch rabbit hole. I thought this video was great showing us where not only you started but a good place for us on a budget can start to find a decent watch. Good stuff

As a student, I've been waiting for this video for a while now. Really appreciate you still coming down to the lower end of watch collecting and giving your recommendations!

Seriously though, Teddy's Videos are professional quality, the way he speaks and his descriptions are fantastic and his range of watches he talks about are from A to Z. No wonder he has so many views on his channel. I look forward to the new ones every week. Keep it up Teddy!

I enjoy the fact that I can play one of your videos at the table with my kids and not worry about rudeness, vulgarity and shock. You just make great videos about watches that anyone can enjoy. Thank you.

I also wanted to say that I have enjoyed owning Citizen Eco-drive watches. They are my favorite, as they keep excellent time, need no battery, and the titanium ones are very lightweight and comfortable.

It's really cool that you don't judge people for their income. It's easy to do when the watch collection hobby comes into play.

I was hooked on smart watches until the overload of information on my wrist was just too much. Came across your channel and some others and now I’ve ordered my first real watch, Tissot PR 100. Considering the Orient Kamasu aswell, since I’m a man of the sea. Appreciate your work 🙏🏽

Rocking my SNK063J5 right now. Seiko 5s are VERY hard to beat. I have the Duro as well and also extremely versatile.

I like the list, but I feel it could've used a Casio Edifice in there. Lots of nice choices from that line under 150. I do like the inclusion of the Duro though.

At a hair under $200 off of eBay from a JDM retailer, I'm a huge fan of my Casio Lineage (LCW-M100TSE-1AJF). Sapphire crystal, titanium case and band, atomic clock reception, solar power, analog/digital display and features.

I was actually turned away from watches a bit from an earlier Teddy video. The one with Kevin where you picked out watches under $12, 000

Kevin said that most people didn’t think you could get one good watch for 12k. And when looking at watches in the thousands, marveling at how cheap it was.

This video is great! Very excited to buy my first watch.

I bought a Braun watch and it was pretty crummy. I wouldn’t recommend. It looked great but felt cheap and I couldn’t get over that especially with how much value Seiko gives at the same price point.

I have the military SNK800. Had it for years and its taken quite a beating and still keeps on going. Great watch.

Just bought my first orient watch went with the ray black 2. I was worried about the case size being to large for my wrist but all your videos led me to take the chance! Thanks for all the great videos!

$150 is a tough price these days. When I became an enthusiast 10 years ago $100-150 was pretty reasonable, but today I think the upper limit for budget watches needs to move up to $200 or $250.
I once saw someone wearing a Vostok on a full NATO strap and I told him it would be very rare to see someone wearing that combination out in the wild. I very rarely see someone wearing even an automatic Seiko.

I just started wearing a watch again and thanks to all of the good information Teddy provides I will be buying different watches for various occasions.

The green dial Seiko was my first watch in many years. Love it, didn’t bother changing the strap. Lume is surprisingly good.
