Finally got my first watch a few weeks ago - went with the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 - couldn't be happier! I love this thing and it looks great in my business casual workplace, along with casual get-togethers with friends. I feel naked without it on me anymore.

I saw an earlier video of yours Teddy about the Alpinist (I believe it was the SPB119). After watching that, I bought one straight away. I rotate it with my Apple Watch depending if I need quick access to my notifications. Everyone says it’s a great casual/dress watch, but I’m a hiker and camper and find the rotating inner bezel very practical. As a outdoorsman I am prepared for the worst case scenario and my SPB121 is part of my survival kit. I am also a teacher, so for formal occasions it also suits me as a sporty dress watch. It’s definitely a niche watch but it suits me perfectly. My wrist is also impossibly thin and this fits it just, so that’s another win for me. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to my next watch purchase as recommended by you. From Far North Queensland, Australia. Mark.

Sir, it would be very helpful if you would provide a list of the watches in the description

Another decent choice within this range price is the TISSOT SEASTAR 1000 POWERMATIC 80. Thanks for the video.

Hi teddy, could you do another video about a 3 watch collection around the 3 to 4000 usd category ? I think in that price range you can really get some amazing watches and a very solide all round collection.

That Hamilton khaki murph is minimalistic yet elegant and the cathedral hands is just the cherry on top

Finally we get to see Stowa on your channel! That's a brand I really like and wish was more represented by YouTubers and reviewers. The Sport 43 is one of my favorites!

You pick intereting topics and do them very well. Thank you for these mini-masterclasses. You do Horology a great service. I never think I wasted a moment listening to you.

I just don’t get it: $1, 100 for a Junghans with an ACRYLIC crystal! It does not make sense!

Great video! I actually snagged the Certina DS Action Diver in 38mm and it is a dream to wear as my wrist is kinda small. Good information, really helpful!

Mido Multifort Dual Time for GMT? It's right around $1000, 80 hours of power, 100M water resistance, it's got pretty much everything.

Loved both GMT's, Doxa and Mido divers (plus some other great divers!). With the amazing abundance of watch brands (including dozens of very nice German watches - and the list goes on) - you had a hard task in front of you with this one. On that note, I wonder whether it would be an idea to start looking a little more outside the square at some of the many brands that rarely seem to rate a mention - not because of the quality etc, rather a lack of marketing or how they may sell directly only.

Love my Max Bill, but the Jazzmaster Thinline deserves a mention in that category.
As for the Silicium, it’s not perfect, but it’s close. It’s not just good on paper. It really feels impressive on the wrist.

First I would like to thank you for introducing me to micro brands. I now have a Traska mint dial, Baltic MR01 coming in July and Wise Adamascus, etc. Second, if you have the time could you do a video on the best $10k-$15k watches in every category? I think many would be interested in hearing your opinion on this price point.
