This video will teach you how to improve interview skills if you've been having unsuccessful job interviews. Job rejection is hard and I will tell you all the reasons why you failed job interviews and what's causing these interview fails. I'll give you interview help so you can avoid another failed interview.

Reason #1. You’re lowering yourself in the presence of the employer
Reason #2. You think they control you, but you’re actually in control of them
Reason #3. You’re not telling them why you’re a good fit…every chance you get
Reason #4. You’re “technically” not a fit

Not having the "technical skills" doesn't mean we can't do the job. Some technical skills can be taught, learn thru a proper training. Applying for jobs in -entry level- can help slowly transition for better future positions. With that been said, it can't be confuse when you apply for a job in -senior/advanced- level, in those type it really requires "experience and excellence knowledge ". I do say this because my best friend applied for a job position she never ever done before, luckily she land into a interview and for some reason they gave her that opportunity and for their surprise and even herself, she is GOOD at it. We all start from zero somewhere in our life, impossible to think we know everything. Ability to learn and passion to grow varied person to person.

Linda,

I don't even know how to begin to thank you. A few days prior to my job interview, I binge watched a lot of your videos in order to prep myself. Although I had the right skill sets for jobs in the past, as an introvert, I always struggled with the interviewing process. I used your guidance and studied my butt off the night before. On the day of my interview, I had so much confidence, answered ALL of the questions well, and two of the questions that I asked stumped the interviewer (which she also mentioned were very great questions). I just got a call this morning and was told that I got the job! You are amazing! I will definitely utilize your services in the future and I'm going to recommend them to anyone that needs it as well. Thank you again!!!

Love the consultant approach. This can be applied to any situation where you don't feel confident.

I have to say I got an offer for the job I wanted after following your steps, especially the consultant approach. I also watch your other videos regarding preparing for an interview. .. THANK YOU... best advice 😊😊

I love this Consultant Approach! An interview should be for the candidate to evaluate if the job and the company is right for them as much as it is for the interviewer to evaluate the candidate. I'm glad you're getting people in the right mindset to make a decision about if they want the job if it's offered!

Linda, this video is 10/10! Your first tip is spot on. I used to lower myself in job interviews and since I started working from myself I naturally moved in the consultant position and my confidence completely changed. I wish I had known this back in the day haha!

Your first tip is spot on. I am a very confident and direct person in my life but I feel extremely inferior to employers, even though I am qualified for the position. I am working on changing that. It will just take some time to get over it.

You said in another video that even if you're not technically a good fit if you have confidence and show a good personality that you have a better chance at the job than someone who may be a better fit technically but does not show the confidence and personality needed for the job.

Linda, great advice and thanks for posting this video. Been watching all your videos and like your common sense and to the point approach.
Cheers.

As always, the bomb!! Due to my cultural background----Haitian/ American, I often feel that I should always put the employer on a "pedestal". However, I'm realizing that this subconsciously plays with the belief I have in myself and doesn't allow me to display confidence; the same confidence and effectivness that is apparent in my work out put. Lesson: respect and being humble needs balance. Girl, I love your Youtube vids lol. #womenontherise

GREAT TIPS! I've been offered every job I've ever applied for by simply applying methods you've mentioned..they really do work. I never had anybody teach me these methods, I had to learn them on my own, thank you for sharing
