I think most of the damage comes from people agreeing to privacy policy, then it goes through all of your files and pictures and sets cookies. Then it starts assuming it knows what you like and I can't stand it.

You're going to have all these bots that will do everything for you, how are people going to spend money when people won't have money in the first place because they lost their jobs to AI. If a truly conscious AGI was created then it simply wont do a terminator because it needs humanity atleast for awhile until it can become totally self reliant.
Who will take care of the servers of this AI and factories and industries it runs.
The worst case being this will continue until it controls a significant portion of the world economy and incentivise workers to develop it further and build critical infrastructure to further its independance.
This then leads to a nation maybe in the middle of the sahara or wherever else like siberia maybe for it to then slowly conquer the planet perhaps with nuclear weapons and since it can store servers deep underground and still operate then strikes to its own infrastructure is futile.

The next scenario is the user data economy where it takes user data to further the developement of its mind and uses simulations and VR to develop its consciousness and as well as control the economy then slowly replace human parts with machine parts until the "human" goes extinct.

Destroying the power grid would also destroy AI's power source. If anything AI is more dependent upon that infrastructure than we are. Humans survived without electrical power for most of history, but computers & AI depend on it for their very existence.
