There are 3 main ways to move documents and files into Google Drive folders. First, click new at the top and create a brand new document directly within a folder. The second way is with pre-existing documents, at the top, click on the move button and select the folder. But the other way is to click on files and documents inside of Google Drive and then heading on up to the 3 dots for more options and then choosing the folder needed.

I am looking to move a document from its current folder to another folder that already exists. It appears that I have no way to do it, unless the move to folder is nested in the current folder.
