Its heartwarming to see how happy Spear is to know Fang is still alive. She's all he has left. Without her he probably wont be able to survive. I like to believe Fang is what's keeping him from ending it all.

I know Fang is pretty big, despite being rather small for a T-rex, but seeing her like this you feel so bad for her you just want to stay with her & nurse her back to health like what Spear did.

This made me realize one thing. Spear loves companionship, it is evident with his family and he loves them very dearly to a point it made him suicidal, depressed and lonely. I don't think the same applies with Fang, because she's a strong willed gal. It's kind of sweet that they find refuge and comfort with each other despite their major differences between the two of them, because they share the same pain of losing their loved one's. What's sweet with this scene when he realized Fang is alive a wave of relief and happiness overcame him and he calms down and smiles for the first time after thinking his companion is dead. Spear doesn't consider Fang as a pet, but as a family.

Seeing them like this almost broke my heart. Spear lost his entire family and almost ended his life over it. He found a new family with Fang, and he almost lost her as well. It's also the first time we see him cry, making the scene even sadder and reinforces just how much he cares for Fang and how important she really is. His screams of anger also hit home, since what else can you do after everything you've been through, if everything was taken from you, and there was no one around to take your anger out on.

I loved Spear's emotions go from sadness to happiness where he felt like Fang is truly dead, but felt hope return when she opens her eyes.

I kinda feel like Fang gave up, like Spear did when he lost his family. Animals accept death with grace, while men do not go gentle into the good night.

When I first watched Krog almost murder Fang I was shocked. I felt catharsis when Spear Goro’d him then went absolute Kratos on the rest of them. So seeing Fang was really ok and Plague of Madness was not like a Episode that took place before it, this made me really happy.

Such an amazing show. We can feel so much for a caveman and his dino without a single word ever being spoken. Expressions and body language is all we have, and it conveys everything so well.

I cried when I thought she died and spear grieving over her. I broke into tears of joy after seeing she is alive.

This show is a rare underrated gem and I wish it gets more attention that it deserves

Everytime I look at those ape men bodies and those bloodstains on everything and everyone, i get flashbacks from ep.5...

...that epic, brutal night...

We didn't see Spear cry when his own family was killed. I love that this isn't like a gut and his dog kind of relationship. It's like a man and a woman, they're both sentient and equal to each other in this time period. Just trying to survive. I feel this broke Spear because he really lost everyone he ever loved. His wife and kids, and then his best friend.

What makes this even sadder is the fact it's the first time Spear cried, even after losing his family he never shed a tear, not once

I knew Fang was alive from the Plague of Madness episode, but it was still so emotional to see her alive and well, and Spear’s reaction.

At first, I really thought Fang was dead, but it is revealed that she is actually alive. I'm pretty sure that she was playing possum.
