Married at 19, baby at 22. I'd never been with anyone and wanted someone the same. But he lied, chased others and had a 🌽 addiction that ruined the relationship. He was easily tempted and cheated a lot, but always talked about religion, so it confused me. The beatings got worse and more unpredictable, I didn't want to die so I prayed that he'd find someone else so I could finally leave. He did move on and eventually changed and I had to heal a lot and thankful to God to get away.

I took my shahada last week on my 21st birthday, and couldn’t have been happier. I’ve been fasting since the start of Ramadan. I’m learning about my deen, and trying to get it right. But I was told that it is a life long journey. But its funny that this video pooped up on my timeline because I want to marry this girl I’ve known since highschool, I’ve known her for 6 years.
