MetaHuman Avatar - Unreal Engine 5 Realtime Live Link Face

A funny little project testing out a variety of things.
- First is the Metahuman which I used a simple avatar character model downloaded from Sketchfab. I then imported to Mesh to Metahuman.
- I made as many changes as possible within Metahuman Creator. Things like shapes, base hair, eye adjustments.
- Next I began making color adjustments in Unreal to get the blue color.
- I then added details to the Texture maps in Photoshop for her skin tattoo stuff.
- I used some of the assets from the Sketchfab model like the dreadlock hair to blend with metahuman hair.
- From there I used Live Link Face on iPhone for facial connection to MetaHuman. Since the mesh has fairly exaggerated features some of the blend areas are off.

That looks amazing, great job. Don't suppose you could put together a video on how to do facial mocap with an android? I have a short film I'm working on, and I am making a set of Metahuman heads that go on the bodies. But I need a good explanation on how it works with Android.

This is truly one of the best things I’ve ever seen. It’s so amazingly realistic and true to Neytiri. Only thing I noticed: is there something you can do to make the movement in the beginning more natural/realistic?

It’s really the only thing that kinda separates this from being a real person with paint/make up

beautiful! other than that you can fix the eyeball size in an outside program and reimport it back to UE.
