Selling is a process of expending your energy by leveraging the emotional triggers aligned with your target audience, compelling them to make a buying decision. People buy the products and services that resonate best with their psychological self-image. Nevertheless, people may relate to multiple triggers at a time. Therefore, it would be safe to infer that it is often an amalgamation of emotions specific to the individuals and their diverse social situations responsible for the ultimate buying decision. That said, it is the righteousness in ones’ code of conduct that builds honorable businesses. The seller must always be on the top of his/her social awareness game to ethically capitalize on the emotional triggers, keeping the best interests of the potential customers in mind.
Since I intend to build my knowledge business based on the objective of Career growth for Working Professionals by enhancing their communication skills, I see a proportional alignment of my mission with the following emotional triggers –
1) Desire – Tapping the aspirational side of working professionals emerging from their ambitions.
2) Growth – Good ambitions must align with good possibilities of breaking the glass ceiling to achieve progression.
3) Relationships – There is no force equivalent to the sense of belongingness and the power of togetherness infused by a community environment. Cohesive environments facilitate likemindedness and keep individuals focused on their goals.
4) Trustworthiness – Building brand credibility is a gradual and long-term goal to earn a reputation as a trusted authority in the arena of communication skills.
5) Self-worth – Success is imperative to the feeling Self-worth. As long as I am successful in acquainting people with their true worth by enabling them to become better versions of themselves through effective communication, I will have accomplished my business goals.
