I was staying at a hostel in Seattle and i went with this group of approx 8 of us to get food at 7-11 which was a couple miles away. On our trip back to the hostel, some gang members started following us. The Brazilian gentleman walking alongside me looked at me and in broken English very calmly informed me he had my back if anything went down. Dude was cool as a cucumber!! When we safely returned to the hostel he told me he grew up in a ghetto in Brazil which is way worse then any ghetto here!! To this day, i can't believe he was so calm!!
