Honestly aside from the avatar state, stronger waterbender or spirit nothing beats bloodbending in the avatar verse it's just op how can you stop someone who can instantly immobilize you without blinking

Let it sink in that Amon is not meant to be a fair fight. His hax don't really have a solution outside being the Avatar. There is no stronger waterbender/bloodbender.

He only took hits because he underestimated Mako and even then he took full power lightning strong enough to make him fly across the room and got kicked out of 3rd story window and was seemingly not that injured. Amon is just a beast.

While we don't see him do a lot of normal waterbending, the fact that by reflex, he immediately does high level waterbending while likely suppressing it for years means, it's not unlikely to assume he's good at that also. And while that is headcanon, he doesn't even need it to win any of his matchups.

I think Iroh can beat him in a straight fight, but psychic bloodbending with no need for a full moon is just too OP and beats anyone who doesn't have an explicit counter.

The misinformation is strong with the avatar fans they dont know that blodbenders need to be close to do blodbending and the other person can still bend so they can still attack them.

If mako can hit Amon through the blood bending Iroh can do it 10x easier and stronger then one shot him with fire or lightning

Amon is just over hyped as a blood bender in comments meanwhile he excels better as a bender and hand to hand fighter, I'm a huge Iroh fan but yeah Amon wins this high diff for me, most water benders and blood benders aren't that good at long range fights which is where Iroh had a good edge over Amon but anything else would easily go to Amon
