Is anyone else actually really impressed with the animation of the old General Grievous? I mean, his fighting style and fluid movement and just his general concepts paired with the animators creativity really brings the fight to life and keeps it all so cool!

I love how Grievous is a feared Jedi killer and is exceptional in combat, but looks so tired and bored at the same time

I don't think people understand just how incredible of an individual General Grievous is. No matter the level of cybernetic enhancement, it should _not_ be possible for a non-Force user to outduel a Jedi Knight with a lightsaber, let alone several. Or Jedi Masters. And he existed at a time when some of the greatest Jedi Masters in history did, as well as the greatest Jedi Knights.

His creativity and brilliance were off the charts when it came to lightsaber duels. Yes, his cybernetic enhancements _helped, _ but as stated, they could never be enough on their own. Not even close. And that's not even taking into consideration the drain on his mind from those cybernetic enhancements. Most people have a hard enough time coordinating two arms. He has four. With a larger range of motion. That helps in some aspects, but does require a _lot_ more mental control to handle.

I really love how Grievous just casually runs down the elevator shaft and looks at the extraction team

If you're on a rewatch: pay attention to how fluid the animation is for the jedi when they fight Griveous. Like, he's the centerpoint and he's drawn to catch your eye, but they also did an amazing job on the side characters!

it never ceases to impress me how well the old animated series depicts the absolute pain train that was General Grievous. He doesn't get enough love from the outside fan base. But the true nerds of this franchise know damn well his power and that he was in fact one of the most feared foes the Jedi have ever faced (especially for a non force user)
