So where does the concept of one's predestined salvation originate from—and how do entire denominations of professing Christians base the foundation of their "theology" on this philosophy? I am not a Calvinist, but I must say that we were Foreknown, before a point in our lives, before our hearing the Gospel, and that we cannot come to the Son unless the Father draws us; yet we still must respond.

John 6:37 tells of Gods Sovereignty, Mans Free Will, and our Eternal Assurance.
Arminianism and Calvinism both two sides of a heresy.

I found myself falling into this a while back, but the very thought that God created souls to simply burn never settled right in my heart. Some of the Puritans had a deep devotion to Christ and their writings were inspiring but to think they allowed this doctrine to infiltrate the Church hurts me greatly.
We were/are all born sinners and destined to hell should we reject Christ and practice iniquity.
Christ died for ALL men, but not all men will repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
