Erik, you know you're going to start an internet battle. Your system is to simple. Half the people think that cleaning a barrel need to be half alchemist, half mad scientist and half voodoo. Obviously your system works, you have the awards to prove it. But this will be fun watching the comments.

Give you a tip. Been using Nulon’s Upper Engine Carbon Remover. Spray into your barrel after shooting patch it out the next morning deadset the best carbon remover I have ever used hands down

Keep in mind he’s using stainless steel barrels. Use CLR at your own risk on non-stainless.

I just squeeze some Radco CLP down my barrel as I'm rotating my rifle, or if I field strip my pistol, the same thing. Then I just let the Radco CLP do the hard work. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Take my bore snake, run it thru the barrel twice. Boom. Done.
