I needed to hear this. I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by dudes who haven’t lifted a weight in their life with arms twice as big as mine. I’ve started lifting heavy again in my late 30’s and seem to build half the muscle per unit time as in my 20’s. Reality is often disappointing, but it’s healthy to realize you can’t control everything.

I have a question you can surely answer.. As we know, muscle growth and strength gain are not co-linear but still related to one another. How much strength (in percent) can you gain after reaching the point of no additionally notable muscle gain? I am sure this is also a genetic variable but is there any way to disclose information on that?
