Great vid I would like to just add.
The 2 out of 3 chances to get verina you mentioned are 100% to be her you said "Chance to get her" that may confuse some new players to think all 3 are RNG.
And one more is "materials are scarce" that's not really true anymore events get you a boatload of them alone if you do them all so you can be a little less picky compared to day 1 players that had to be more picky.

Glad I found this randomly. WUWA is a great game, like the other gatcha games like Star Rail, 3rd Impact, , Genshin and ZZZ. I have found it difficult to get a lot of materials for leveling, so this video is going to help me a lot. Thanks!

Saving corals to get duplicates is kinda bad, you can literally have tons of more pulls on signature and 5star weapons, but you save it for 1 or 2 duplicates is a pure crime, never spend your coral getting duplicates bro, always use them for more sig weapons, the duplicate can make your character 20% stronger, the weapon makes it 300% stronger. Weapons over duplicates everyone.

Hi, day 1 player here, good advice on the solvents. Save them for later for either when you need them or at least when you unlock max rewards from weapon/character materials/tacet fields.

I will add that, as a lower level, your most efficient way to spend waveplates is through Tacet fields until you unlock max rewards for your character/weapon materials. You are always going to need echo exp tubes and tuners and you're going to use way more of those then character materials...you also get plenty of character/weapon materials in the world through shops, events and other things, so it can be very easy to end up having an over abundance and wasting waveplates anyway.

To really drive this point home, echo rarity is tied to your data bank level and it is very easy to get to 100% 5 star rarity drops due to all the static 5 star echo spawns in the world. Add in the thousands of tuners you will need and the ability to upgrade lower level tuner to higher ones, tacets are just the perfect way to level and spend waveplates.

Hi end game UL80 player here. I do agree with everything you mentioned here and it is a good guide but I do have some pointers.

You didn't mention anything to do with the data bank, and I just wanted to say that farming your data bank level and getting it to level 15 as soon as possible is very very important as it helps you in the long run by being able to get legendaries as well as making echo merging a viable option to get better echos. To add on to this, its also important to mention NOT to use the echo merging until then so that you can have lots of green, blue and purple echos that you can put into it making it much easier to get lots of gold echos.


You mentioned pre farming and I 100% agree with what you said but I would also like to add that even if you don't have your eye out on someone specific for the future to pull for, it's still important to go and do some of them. For example, many 5* and 4* characters require Bell Borne's material so it can help to claim his rewards every week even if you're not planning on levelling anyone. I would personally prioritise Bell Borne then Crownless then Scar and then Hecate and then either Jue or Fallacy as there are not many characters that require their material.

Also, pulling on the weapon banner in wuwa is worth it as pity carries over, the weapons help a amount (Jinhsi's and Shorekeeper's sigs can be used as examples). What's worth mentioning is that you should use your standard pulls on the standard weapon banner rather than the character banner. A reason for this is that you're still able to get the standard 4* characters as well as the weapons, but also due to the fact that the 5* weapons offer much more than the 4*'s in their categories. If you didn't get a character's sig then putting in the standard 5* might be a decent short term solution until the rerun.

Exploration in wuwa can be tiring and boring especially in Huanglong and Tethy's Deep as you actually need to use an interactive map and treasure maps but unfortunately it has to be done. Collecting all the sonance caskets and bells gives you Rover constellations (both spectro and havoc) which can give you a huge damage buff early game when Rover may be your only or best DPS character. Not only this but they give you various rewards and astrites. Another thing is the chef and synthesis level that you can upgrade by cooking foods until you get max proficiency and same goes for crafting things in the synthesizer and these give rewards too.

Finally, I'd like to add that the 4* characters in wuwa are not to be ignored. Resonators such as Danjin, Sanhua, Mortefi and Yangyang (sometimes also Baizhi but I only use her as a filler in tower) can help make your team that much better and sometimes they're better at a job than 5*. Some key example of this are Mortefi having a good synergy with Jiyan due to his ult, Danjin being a high skill resonator with INSANE damage potential if in the right hands and has been used to solo tower by many people, Sanhua (especially at c6) is an AMAZING substitute to Roccia who has been recently added however I decided to pull for a Jinhsi constellation rather than Roccia due to the fact Sanhua has already filled the role of basic attack dmg buff (I do know Roccia is also one of the best groupers however I didn't want to use my pulls on her) and Yangyang can be good with DPS characters that need their ult most of the time for example Carlotta (if you don't already have Zhezi for her)

horizontal and vertical investment is a really important one indeed, i focused on vertical investment especially with my changli and now i struggle cleaning ToA because i have so little characters that could actually deal damage. Shorekeeper is another that i invested vertically in, but she's obviously a support so she can't do much to help me deal damage except for buffing my characters so please watch out with this!

As someone who has been playing this game and building multiple characters currently, all i can say is meta isn't the problem but you. Even if you have skill issue i believe you can get through the game and clear its content, hell..Aalto, Chixia even Danjin mains exists. If they can do it then so can you(though i advise you don't spend money to get max copies on this game lol)

I also came back after 2.0 update and I can say that they definitely up the whole feeling of the game and the optimization.

My only problem is that there are too much value on the 5s gacha chars and weapons. I try to find a useful 3 star or 4 star support weapons for my 5s chars but they are nonexistent. But the gacha system is lenient and there are a lot of astrite you can farm for the f2p players so I guess your only option is to pull. But overall a very good game.

like to offer a counterpoint to farming Tacet fields; seen on a diff 'guide video' that its kinda 'inefficient', stamina/waveplate wise, to farm those or use daily stamina farming echoes via Tacet Fields, when u can essentially just track 'em down for free from the echo menu and "tracking". For me, the daily stamina goes by waaaay too quickly.. (i do like that after union level 20-22 u get the chance to double ur rewards for some loot runs ie. tuners/charater xp or ascension mats etc) so doing that once or twice a day will pretty much alrdy deplete ur stamina pool..
after that - nothing really left to do but side quests, push story or farm echoes etc.. and once u get Data Level 20 or beyond u'll be stockpiling plenty of trash echoes and 5* echoes, any that arent good sets/sonata sets/substats just throw into the echo blender and roll for different ones.

the biggest thing I dont like about this style of gacha, is weapon banners. I hate having to use normal character summoning mats to also spend on a 'chance' to get 5* weapons.. the "fomo" of not having enough summon currency (as a f2p) when a new hero comes out is no good.. so i hoard all my stuff... which means im lacking severely on output damage =[ but ehh, we'll get there eventually.

i am mediocre at best at action games but the game just seems so good i started it the other day, i am hoping on improving by the time Zani comes out (i have seen footage of the game and when i saw her plus her english va i knew I GOTTA HAVE HER and hopefully i will be able to main her without too much difficulty, i would get Camellia otherwise as her gameplay seems fairly simple vs some other characters

wuwa is extremly F2P friendly game and these types of games are my favorite
as long as you dont have to P2W to be as good as a guy who spent over thousands of dollars on a game its automatically a win for me
