I had a friend in 8th grade who had alcoholic/abusive parents, and she had an Older sister. Her older sister had told her that if she ever moved out, she'd take custody of her since they're only two years apart.
Thankfully, both of them have now been living happier without their parents. ❤

this is exactly my story. I was so happy and releived that atleast she is gonna be happy . But my sister never was. She never wanted to leave evn tho she had a lot of big dreams. She went and she has a job now. She is just waiting for me to complete my high school to take me with her. She sacrificed everything for me. She had to make sure that I never missed amma (our mother). She had to be my mother at a very young age when she lost her own mother, her bestfriend, her whole world, her last bit of hope. She had noone, no ray of hope . She worked hard not knowing when the darkness will be gone.But for me ik she is waiting for me at the end of the darkness very soon . My light of hope. I just want her to be happy and healthy all the time cuz she is the only reason why I am still alive. I miss amma a lot but my sister, her presence always remind me of amma's. I relate to this alot. Last night I told my big sister that I don’t wanna leave her when she grows up. She also told me she even wishes to have dinner with me in the future, she’s the only person in my life that understands me. I love her a lot. ❤

It hurts even more when it’s the older sister who is the protective one and there is a a baby, younger sister and a middle sister. The baby is crying the younger sister is crying the middle sister is fake smiling.:(

Growing up we we're never rich, I never experienced all the glam and pampers like others. I'm an academic achiever, so even in my situation I always try my best. Once I had a school project and I told my parents about the expenses and they told me the exact same thing like always, that we don't have any money and that they will find a way, but the one who actually helped me was my sister. She bought me all the stuff that I needed with her allowance and other savings, I was so thankful. I remembered crying as I bought all the things I needed 😢 I love her so muchhh
