When was Mark's Gospel REALLY written?

People like Bart Ehrman argue that Mark, often assumed to be the earliest Gospel, is written much later than the events it describes.

I think there's a similar comparison to be made to Bart Ehrman's belief that a miracle must always be the most infinitesimally remote of an event, so it's not really a surprise.

You don't even need to believe that Jesus had any prophetic ability (I do because I'm a Christian but that's irrelevant) - there was even one other person predicting the destruction of the temple before it happened. It could just have been an educated guess or a standard trope of prophecy to predict the destruction of the temple. Interesting side note - the only prophet Jesus ever compares himself with, was Jonah, whose prophesy didn't come to pass. Even mainstream scholars date Mark to around 68 AD today and not after the destruction of the temple. Ehrman is behind on his scholarship here. As usual because he's stuck in German higher criticism of the 19th and early 20th century.
