Justin i think it started with the American athletes being given an advantage over all other athletes because they robbed many others from financial gains because they were using banned substances... so not just Jamaicans but other countries are still reeling from that.

Justin has more wins over Powell than the other way around. That said ofcourse both had illustrious careers. Gatlin is also the sprinter to beat Usain Bolt the most times in events than any other sprinter.

it's rivalry and it's what hyped up the sport and made everyone love the 100m and looked forward to it. Once there were/is no disrespect behind the scenes I'm good. After all the rivalry pushed them both. look how bolt got hyped up and pushed more after he lost to Blake...it is necessary
