I'm a master at papers please so listen people if you want to play:

-For the most part if you see a discrepancy you don't have to highlight it, you can just send them away, unless it is something that you can detain them for in which you need to highlight it; although later in the game they add reason for denial and you need to give a reason why by highlighting a single discrepancy, if the discrepancy is cleared, you can send them through

-You can speedrun the first few days because of how little rules there are, just check dates and just go fast, you can earn a lot of money this way

-Unlike what caseoh did, if you highlight dari ludum's name and compare it with the note, you can have it him detained

-keep rule book out, when you are done checking something put it on the counter to your left; later in the game when you get the key and criminal list, put the criminal list to the far right of the screen to where the criminals faces are only peeking out, and put the key on top of the paper.

--it's better to detain later on than deny, you get money bonus from detaining.

-if you make a mistake with the stamp, you can spam the correct stamp over the mistake one, do it multiple times and make sure to cover the incorrect stamp.
