A lot of you wanted me to make an overclocking guide for your computers. Here it is :D I decided to make an easy and fast overclocking guide while also outlining the advantages and negatives/risks of overclocking your graphics card in 2020. I could overclock my gpu to +250 no problem, i left for a vacation for a couple of days and when i came back it crashed if i put more than +180, is there a problem?

So I have 9 fans and a cooler and and a amd radeon rx 5700 xt and I over clocked it to 2130MHz I pulled out my menu and my temp is on like 62c which is really good because the max temp on an AMD Radeon rx 5700 xt is 110c so I'm good

My laptop (HP Pavilion) has a strange problem where if I am not plugged into the charger it lags terribly (about 30 fps vs plugged at 256 fps generally) Have any Ideas please tell me I need to fix this

HUGE DISCLAIMER: Please warn your viewers DO NOT click the apply on Start Up button in MSI Afterburner until you have fully tested the overclocked values on several benchmarks and are comfortable with the results. So what can happen is everything is running well and you click 'apply on startup'. Then you test out a slightly higher overclock and your gpu crashes. Everytime you try to start up your computer it will boot, auto overclock, and crash in an endless cycle. So please be careful here.

id love aa overclocking/undervolting series. what to look out for in a motherboards VRMs and so on. difference between undervolting and overclocking your cpu.
about your 5700xt, on what resolution can you plan vr when you play pc vr games? im looking forward to building my own pc, buying used parts, using my old ssd, saving money wherever i can an still getting a power house (overclocking it myself etc.) i couldnt find a wholeosme covering website what cpus and gpus to look out for, where the little sweet spot is. because simple cpu and gpu charts arent working for vr when trying to find out what parts are working best for vr.
i heard fewer core cpus are better, becaus emost games, even none vr games. mostly only use 1-4 core. but i dont really wanna buy older cpus. Espeially at a time where AMDs are so hyped...

Usually while doing this I thought you were supposed to run the test run for a good 5 mins for prolonged test run a graphics card can run at high speeds briefly due to cooler temptress. So you need to know it can run at a prolonged heat

What happens when you fail overclocking?

You should have something like tech GPU-Z or gpu tweaks monitor to see throttling. Just becuase you don't see artifcacts, doesnt mean it isn't throttling.
