A good pair of bike tire levers is what works for me, but them cheap ones aren't strong enough. Putting the tire back on I use cable ties (zip strips) to help. These tires are such a pain to change that I would rather change my motorcycle tire. I can do BMX tires with just my hands, but these little 8.5 inch tires are tough as nails. I also have a rear luggage rack so rear tire changes are the worst. I just did my rear tire and replaced the outer tire today. So happy to have my grocery wagon back. This was my 3rd flat tire in 1500km. The tire needed replaced anyways, so I didn't mind so much, but dang them inner walls are hard to get in and out.

one comment you forgot to mention is that most scooters have directional tires with arrows on the side - they need to go on in the same direction as the ones you took off.

try filling the tube with air inside the tire to lock it in place. Then, remove all the air. Instread of using a screw driver when putting it back on, possibly popping your new tube, use the backs of two rounded spoons! Used this trick when replaciing bike tires when I was a kid!

I highly recommend putting the tire in hot water for 10 minutes to make the rubber more malleable and easier to push in.

I think I left the nut that goes to the inflator part on the tube on the last tire can that be replaced if I did forget to put it on do I need to take the whole tire back off again

You might want to get a tire lever instead of a screwdriver :). Also, baby powder works great to allow the tube to settle without being folded.

Boil the tire for like 5-10 minutes then let it cool down it works
