This was so helpful! I'm almost 40 and FINALLY starting to experiment with makeup now that my skin has become clearer. I definitely struggle with selecting the right brushes and how much pressure to apply. I have slightly hooded eyes, so it's tricky!

I've been a professional makeup artist for over 40 years. Occasionally I watch videos to keep up with trends. Most of the time I want to scream because they are boring, verbose and obviously all about the person in the video. You are amazing! I love the way you explain everything. It’s insane that both eyes have the exact same lid shade, they look completely different in color family, tone, opacity, and shine. They don’t look like they could even be the same brand or caliber of quality at all. This just goes to show that putting in the effort to properly prep the eye, and taking the time to learn and understand the different uses for your tools is %100 worth it .

Girl, I'm 50 and I do so many of the dont's...lol I learned how to do my make up in the 80s then stopped wearing it for a long time after the cancer. I'm just now getting back into it, subbed to boxycharm and I am loving your videos! The new techniques are incredible and so gorgeous.
