Am I the only one who doesn't like these type of "Do's and Don't's" videos? There is no right or wrong way to do makeup, as long as you rock it! I feel like this type of video can make some people feel bad about the way they do their makeup, and make them think they're doing it "wrong". Makeup is an art, and should bring out your creativity and uniqueness, so when people listen to all these "Do's" everyone's makeup starts looking the same. Just my opinion though.

Amy, you do this type of video so well. I find a lot of people who film dos and donts go way overboard and end up looking completely silly on purpose. You do a great job of making it realistic and showing some common mistakes people ACTUALLY make. Great video!

Honestly like the 'don't' side better. Jaclyn Hill always has the black wing and black eyeliner on the bottom and always slays it 😁 I personally feel naked without black bottom liner. But each to their own, makeup has no limitations! ♡

People watch these videos to learn something. You don't walk into a makeup class in college and tell the prof there's no rules to makeup. Obviously it's fun to play around and do your makeup however you want, but you can play around while still following guidelines and tips so that it's flawless and blended and flattering! Anyways I learned a ton from this video and your last do's and donts and I certainly know a TON of people that could learn something from watching these as well!

Love your videos but ive never used a transition shade and everyday i get compliments on y. Eyeshadow as long as you blend it looks fine

If we need a different brush with every dark color then how many brushes do you need or are you somehow cleaning the brush between colors each time? Otherwise you need like 5 brushes or more because you need a "clean" brush to blend and in many different sizes both clean and dirty? Also HOW do you line he upper waterline with black and the bottom waterline with NUDE but the 2 not mix when your blinking or throughout the day? My top waterline ALWAYS transfers to my bottom waterline and I'm using the urban decay 24hr liner! I can't seem to keep them from mixing. Maybe they mix in everyone but we only see the initial finished product and not like 1-2 hrs later when the bottom waterline looks gray!

What I like about this Do's and Don'ts tutorial compared to many others is that the Don'ts side isn't overdramatic. I've seen lots of tutorials where the Don'ts side just looks ridiculous for comedic effect, so isn't realistic. This tutorial actually shows errors that lots of people make that looks good, but could look better if we followed the Do's tips. This really improved eyeshadow techniques thanks Amy x

They both look so good! Thick under-eye-liner/shadow is a really bold look and gives you that cute "smiling with your eyes" look. It's definitely popular in the alternative scene!

These people in the comment section are so annoying, if you do your make up like the don't side then that is your preference, and if it does make you feel bad about your make up then you just have to realize that this world isn't all about you and your feelings !!! if you want to learn the right way of doing make up then watch this and if you don't want to then just don't watch it !! Simple as that, she is not going to cancel a whole great video idea for you, there are people that want to learn .... Jeez

I didn't even realize I was doing my eye makeup completely wrong !! I always noticed my crease coloring never blending the way I wanted it to and now I know I NEED a transition!! I love this video thank you !!
