Well, I guess it depends on the look you're goin for. If you're doing a natural, everyday makeup look, then it won't be a really BAD thing to do your foundation and etc first. But then if you're doing a smokey eye or something more heavy, with lots of colours and maybe glitter, pigments etc, then yeah, it might be better to do your foundation AFTER doing your eyes, and after dusting off the residues, or whatever it is it might fall... or maybe fall outs i guess that's the expression in english (? haha.

Tho I wouldn't know how to not mess it up when applying foundation on my forehead and my nose :P
I persoanlly always put foundation first, then set it, do my eyes (when making heavy makeup on my eyes), and then put concealer and set it... but i'm not someone who does crazy makeup looks often.

OMG. I have never understood why people used pointless eyeshadow layers underneath dark or shiny layers. but it make complete sense that you need a buffer between raw wet primer and layers you want to blend.

you have simplified a concept that has gone over my head as an unsaid rule that I've always thought to be stupid, but then never understood why I can't get some looks to work!! Thank you!

This video is super helpful! I always get frustrated when I can't blend out the darker shade after I put on my primer, but thanks for your help I don't have to fuss anymore lol 👌

Please do more dos and donts for everything! Like foundations, contour and highlight, eyebrows, lips, eyelashes, hair, cleaning and moisturising, etc. Lots of love xx

you always go straight to the point and keep everything simple I love that! I would like to watch a lipstick do's and don'ts video if you don't mind 'cause I don't really know how to achieve wearable lips with some lipstick tones

I don't have a primer but I found out that if you put lip balm and foundation on your eye and blend before eyeshadow it works the same and lasts all day while still being harmless to your skin.

You can put translucent powder under the eye area and If there is any fallout you can clean it up later with a brush without ruin your base.

I wish you did a presentation of what you're explaining on both halves of your face (so that the effect would be what is shown on the photo to this video, you know what I mean). I don't know why but you speak so clearly that there's not a single word I didn't understand (I'm not a native English speaker) which is nice :)
