I'm house and pet sitting for my landlords. Their cat hates being alone; she follows me everywhere, and I mean _everywhere_
The other night, while I was aiming to piss she tried to jump directly into the toilet. If I try to lock her out of the bathroom, she cries loud enough for the neighbours to hear. She sleeps in my bed every night, and she's claimed my robe as her own.
She's grown on me, and I think I'm gonna be a little sad when her real parents come back. I'm actually enjoying being a cat step-dad, lol

My childhood cat once ran into my room at with a ball that had a bell in it in her mouth, jumped onto my stomach while i lay asleep in bed, then threw the ball across the room so hard it hit the wall (my room was not that large), and jumped after it, slamming her face into the wall. Insane way to get woken up ngl

My aunts cat does the cutest thing if you put your fist down infront of him he will bump his head into it like a kitty first bump 🥹🙏

I've found two things that have mitigated late night zoomie related injuries.

First I bought a $230 running wheel. Only one of my two cats uses it but it's cute when she does.
The other thing is I stood up an old mattress (between my bed and some shelves) while I set up a new one and climbing it has become a regular event. The cat mention above even does this cool move when she jumps off a chair and kicks off the vertical mattress to land on the bed instead of just jumping straight over.

My cat got startled while he was laying on my chest and now I have a giant scratch on my ear in the shape if an A (without the cross bar), his initial. Its 100% going to scar and I was given 10 days of antibiotics.
