i got sent a screenshot of this video since i'm the OP of the first post (princeofmints) and wanted to say thank you for including it <3 the long haired cat in it passed away a few months ago (his name was Vlad) and it's been hard to cope with both for me and my other cat, but seeing that post circulate still makes me feel like he left behind a legacy of sorts. like he's still making people happy just as he always made me so happy. it's nice to see it pop up now and again like a fond little memory i can keep alive of him <3

My husband and i have two cats. One was a stray who showed up screaming at the top of a telephone pole and took 24 hours to come down and only did so once i was at work. Hes solidly my husbands. My cat is an accidental litter baby who broke out of her house and decided im her dad now and the neighbor just gave her to me after like the 3rd time she showed up screaming at our door. When she was small Salem, my husbands cat, adored her. He wouldnt leave her alone. One time we were watching tv and he heard an angry cat noise and came sprinting into the room and frantically looked all around until eventually he found her. The only other time ive seen him act like that was when i took nyquill before bed and he couldnt wake me up and screamed in the livingroom until i woke up and called out to him and he came in and did this little kitten meow and had watery eyes and everything.

So he loves his sister but for a while most of his interactions with her was him trying to play with her. Fine while shes small but shes half Siberian. Siberians are 15 to 20lbs on average. Our poor dumb boy is 13lbs and hes admittedly a little fat. I warned him it wouldnt be funny when she was bigger than him she is now 7lbs and only 6 months old. Shes almost as tall as him now and hes realizing hes created a monster XD. Shes zero percent afraid of him and wants to play basically anytime she remembers hes in the room and i think hes figured out how big shes going to be. Lately hes started doing this really concerning sounding meow which really does sound like hes hurt. So ive been rushing into the room to find them on opposite sides and had no idea wtf was going on until last week. I was sitting on the couch and Salem was next to me when my cat jumped up nowhere near him and he screamed, got up and very calmly jumped off the couch and went to get water while my cat took his spot. Im going to have two big dumb idiots to take care of and i dont know if we need help or if this is the greatest developement yet XD
