LANDING ON A PRIVATE GRASS STRIP RUNWAY | PART 1 | MILES FIELD | PIPER CHEROKEE | FLIGHT VLOG

On this flight, I flew to a private grass strip airport, Miles Field (3KY9), to attend a fly-in event celebrating the fourth of July. Before this flight, I had not landed on a grass strip runway since my PPL training. All those soft field simulated landing paid off when it was time for the real deal!
Part 2 of this video will show the flour drop contest that my friend Lucas and I participated in.
