John 5 literally is the perfect guitar teacher, most guitar teachers just teach you basic boring shit that makes you uninterested when you’re beginning. I like his approach when teaching people to keep them picking up the instrument

I loved the conversation, especially when John told us he starts teaching by finding something the new student can play right away that they love. I think that translates to learning anything, if you can approach it through your interests then you're probably going to put in the time and become good at the thing. I think it's such an important idea and I don't think I've heard it expressed any better.

I’ve heard of John 5, and knew he played with Manson. But I never knew he’s such a cool guy and very humble, I wish him the best and am now a complete fan of his!
